How did the Belarusian plane get into his country?
New President of Argentina Javier Miley is known for his desire to reduce government spending, as well as his love for scandalous behavior and populism.
A video recently circulated on social media showing Argentine President Javier Miley being warmly welcomed on board an airplane. But this event has one more feature — the plane itself. The video footage clearly shows that the interior decoration contains the symbols of the Belarusian air carrier - blue cornflower.
How did the Belavia plane get to Argentina?
The reason for this was the sanctions imposed against the Belarusian regime and the air carrier.
According to the Internet resource Simple Flying, initially the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft (it was in its cabin that Miley photographed) was produced specifically for Belavia and made its first flight in October 2021.

Back in 2018, Belavia signed a leasing agreement for the purchase of five Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which were planned to replace the outdated Boeing 737-300 and B737-500. In April 2021, Belavia successfully received the first one. However, sanctions were soon introduced that prevented the transfer of the remaining aircraft to the Belarusian side. Therefore, the manufacturer redirected them to air carriers in other countries.
The new aircraft, the seventh of its type in the Aerolíneas Argentinas fleet, arrived with some parts of the Belavia livery. Thus, the logo of the Belarusian airline was present on the tail. The plane was later repainted. But in the cabin, as you can see, some elements characteristic of the Belarusian airline remained.
