AFU Publish Vibrant Video Made By Volunteers For St Nicholas, Armed Forces Day

The Armed Forces of Ukraine published on its Facebook page a touching video - congratulations on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the day of St Nicholas, which from this year are celebrated at the same time.

"This year Ukrainians for the first time celebrate two holidays together - the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Saint Nicholas. This fact inspired the authors of the video to create a warm and kind story in which children thank their relatives - the defenders, and ask to protect our common home - Ukraine, and, of course, ask St Nicholas: "To bring presents," the message reads.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces say that the video was made as part of a campaign to provide information support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was created on a volunteer basis by Ukrainian companies and artists.

The video clip will also be broadcast on Ukrainian TV channels and cinemas.
