Ilya Kiva Liquidated: Sensational Details Of Ukrainian Traitor's Death

Precautions did not help the traitor.

The death of former Ukrainian MP Ilya Kiva has been confirmed by OBOZ.UA sources. According to them, a special operation to liquidate the traitor was organised by the Security Service of Ukraine.

This was reported on 6 December by the newspaper's interlocutors on condition of anonymity. The perpetrator was liquidated with small arms.

The Russian mass media were the first to report the death of the former Ukrainian politician who had defected to Russia. On the evening of Wednesday 6 December, they wrote that Kiva had been found dead in the Moscow region. The body was allegedly found in a cottage village near Odintsovo.

Russian so-called law enforcement agencies have opened a criminal investigation into the murder. This was reported by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Moscow region. It is alleged that Kiva was shot by an unknown person. The 'victim' died at the scene of the crime.

Later, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, Andriy Yusov, confirmed on the air of the "Єдині новини" telethon that Kiva was dead.

"Yes, we can confirm that Kiva is 'all'. Such a fate will befall other traitors of Ukraine, as well as henchmen of Putin's regime," the GUR official said.

Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, wrote today on his Telegram channel Powerful Nikolai.

A few hours later, a video was shown in Russia of the place where the traitor's body was allegedly found. The investigator used a metal detector to search for something in the snow.

According to the aggressor country's media, the murder allegedly took place in a forest near the Velich Country Club Hotel in the Moscow region. It was there that Kiva most often filmed his propaganda videos - so as not to reveal his whereabouts. The precautions did not help the traitor. Russian propaganda sources believe that Kiva may have been under surveillance for a long time.

Kiva was born on 2 June 1977 in Poltava. He was a deputy of the IXth convocation of the Verkhovna Rada. According to the media, he left the territory of Ukraine on 30 January 2022. He first went to Spain and from there to the Russian capital, Moscow.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, the pro-Russian politician openly sided with the Kremlin, saying that "the Ukrainian people need liberation". He took part in Russian propaganda broadcasts, broadcast Russian narratives and even appealed to dictator Vladimir Putin to eliminate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He was stripped of his parliamentary mandate by a decision of 335 MPs. The traitor's name was also added to the sanctions list of the National Security and Defence Council.

In 2023, the Lychakovsky District Court of Lviv found Ilya Kiva guilty of publicly calling for the overthrow of the constitutional order and seizure of state power, high treason, using symbols of the communist totalitarian regime and publicly calling for aggressive war.

The accomplice from the Russian Federation was sentenced in absentia to 14 years' imprisonment with confiscation of property.
