Ursula Von Der Leyen, Josep Borrell Arrive In Kyiv

High-ranking EU officials have stated the "strongest signal" to Ukraine and Russia.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrell arrived in Kyiv on Thursday, February 2.
They announced this on Twitter.
This is Ursula von der Leyen's fourth visit to Kyiv since the start of the full-scale war unleashed by Russia. A team of European commissioners came with her.
"This time (came - ed.) with my team of commissioners. We are here together to show that the EU stands by Ukraine as firmly as ever. And to deepen further our support and cooperation," Ursula von der Leyen wrote.

Meanwhile, EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrell also reported on his visit to Kyiv.
"Arrived in Kiev to convey EU's strongest message of support to all Ukrainians defending their country. EU's assistance has reached 50 billion euros since the start of Russia's war. Europe stood united with Ukraine since day one. And will stand with you to win and rebuild," he reported online.

Meanwhile, Reuters says more than a dozen European Union officials have arrived in Kyiv with promises of additional military, financial and political aid.
The publication wrote that the symbolic trip is intended to underline support for Ukraine on the eve of the first anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion.
"This is a very strong signal that we are in Kyiv at a time of war. It is a signal to the Ukrainian people. It is a signal for Russia. It is a signal to the world," the senior EU official told the publication.
Senior EU officials are expected to meet with members of the Ukrainian government in Kyiv today and the announced Ukraine-EU summit is scheduled for tomorrow.
