The AFU is ready for any scenarios.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is not ready for an attack on Ukraine from the territory of Belarus. Since Russian troops are no longer as strong as they were a year ago.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, the BBC reports.
"I don't think he is ready. And it will be a big mistake for him and for Belarus. A historic mistake. Because they will not occupy us, because they are not as strong as they were, and even then they could not do it. So now it's going to be a huge challenge for them to occupy Kyiv. And as I said before it's a big mistake. Because they will be involved in this war, Belarus, people from Belarus, soldiers from Belarus," he said.
At the same time, the President expressed hope that Belarus would not join the dictator.
"It means losing history for them, it means losing Belarus. I think it's a mistake. So I hope that Belarus will not join Putin and will not go for these steps," said Zelensky.
He also added that if Belarus does join the offensive against Ukraine, our country will endure.
"We will fight. We will fight, we will endure," the president stressed.
