Representative Of Poland: We Are Ready To Make Difficult Decisions On Closing Border With Belarus

Poland responds harshly to the actions of the Kremlin and the Lukashenka regime.

Poland will take the "necessary decisions" if it is "justified and necessary," Stanisław Żaryn, spokesman for the coordinating minister of Poland's special services, said, commenting on the possibility of a complete closure of the border with Belarus by Poland.

"I don't want to decide on this issue," said Żaryn in an interview with Polskie Radio 24. "The decision will require an analysis of various factors and consequences, but the necessary decisions will be made. The government intends to make difficult decisions if conditions do not allow for other options.”

He noted that the Russian Federation has long been able to "force and use Belarusian structures for its own purposes."

"Obviously, when making the most important decisions, the Kremlin influences the actions of Minsk," said the spokesman for the Polish special services. "This has led to a migration crisis on the border with Belarus, which is in the interests of Russia. The behavior of the Belarusian authorities is an integral part of Russia's actions against Poland."

Important to note, since February 10, Poland has closed the Bobrowniki checkpoint in response to a harsh sentence against political prisoner Andrzej Poczobut.
