The businessman is accused of "inciting hatred against Russians".

Sole trader Siarhei Leaniuk has been detained in Belarus. The reason for the detention was the comments on the Internet.

Siarhei Leaniuk is 51 years old. He's been engaged in petty trade since 2012. Prior to that he had worked as a marketing specialist at private firms and Belarusbank.

In the video of the law enforcers, the entrepreneur says that he allegedly left comments on Telegram. Their alleged content is also demonstrated - even if the man really wrote them (the username and other information is not specified), the comments are related to condemnation of Russian aggression in Ukraine, although some of them can hardly be called polite.

A criminal case has been opened against the man under Article 130 for "inciting hatred against Russians". The article could carry a sentence of up to five years in prison.
