US State Department Chief: Military Supplies To Ukraine Changing For AFU Offensive
ANTHONY BLINKEN

According to Blinken, Kyiv "should have everything it needs."

The US is adjusting its military aid to Ukraine so that the AFU has everything it needs to defend itself effectively and launch a new offensive against Russian-occupied territory, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The broadcast was on the agency's YouTube.

"At every step we will work very closely with the Ukrainians and we will work with our other partners and allies to ensure that Ukraine has everything it needs <...>. The support we provide will change with the changes in the conflict," the US secretary of state said.

Blinken assured that Washington, together with its allies, would continue to adhere to this principle when it comes to supplying new weapons to Kyiv, which at the moment "may be the most effective".

At the same press conference, Stoltenberg said that there was a need to supply weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces that would help the Ukrainian army to regain Russian-occupied territories and help the country remain an independent state. NATO does not see Russia's intention to end the conflict.
