Ukraine's president has disclosed details about other military aid from London as well.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has summarised the results of his visit to the UK, which took place on Wednesday, February 8. He said that Ukraine had reached an agreement with Britain on the supply of long-range weapons.

During a meeting with the media following talks with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the Bovington Camp military base, Zelensky stressed that Ukraine would receive a "strong defence package from the UK," as reported by the press service of the Ukrainian president.

"We have agreed on a mighty amount of armoured vehicles, the supply of long-range weapons and we have agreed to start training Ukrainian pilots. I believe this is our clear signal - of Ukraine and Great Britain - that we are not only going together, but that we will go all the way to our common victory," Zelensky said.

The Head of State stressed that this visit to the United Kingdom was extremely productive.

"I thank Prime Minister Sunak for understanding our needs, for very precise advice and for solutions that will help Ukrainian soldiers to become even stronger", Zelensky added.

As the president noted, it is now clearly evident that Ukraine and Britain are becoming true allies. Also, according to him, the parties stated the achieved level of security, sanction, political and economic cooperation and determined the way of further strengthening of the position of the two states. In addition, they discussed interaction in international forums.

"I would like to thank you personally, Rishi, and all of Britain for your willingness to work together with us to implement fully the Ukrainian peace formula. And it is from here that I want to say to all our soldiers, to every Ukrainian soldier, sergeant, officer and general: the state does and will do everything to ensure that our defenders on the front line have the maximum opportunity. The maximum, which the advanced countries of the world have today. Ukraine will be among those who have everything necessary to protect our people, our independence," stressed Zelensky.

As the Charter97.org website reported, the president of Ukraine arrived in London on February 8. There he met with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Rishi Sunak.

During a press conference, Sunak said that the main Challenger 2 battle tanks will get to the front line in Ukraine in March.
