Liquidation Or Suicide: Russian Hero's Dead Body In Stavropol Krai

Ukrainian media reported on the liquidation of the Russian major, commander of the airborne assault regiment, and the Hero of the Russian Federation Dmitry Lisitsky.

However, the BAZA, a Russian Telegram channel, writes that his body was found in the Russian Stavropol Krai. There is a version that he committed suicide.

The body of Dmitry Lisitsky with a gunshot wound was found at about 10 am on March 26 in his apartment in Stavropol on Serov Street.

As the Charter97.org website wrote, Major Lisitsky led a battalion tactical group of the 247th Regiment. They attacked Ukrainian units that broke out of the cordon in Ilovaisk near the village of Horbatenko. Dmitry Lisitsky was awarded the title Hero of Russia in January 2015 for the war in Ukraine.
