Ukrainian Oligarch Who Collaborated With Lukashenka Ordered To Dismantle Helicopter Intended For Ukrainian Defence Intelligence
VYACHESLAV BOHUSLAYEV

The helicopter was needed to perform combat missions at the frontline.

President of Motor Sich JSC, Ukrainian oligarch Vyacheslav Bohuslayev blocked the delivery of the Mi-2 helicopter to Ukrainian intelligence. This helicopter was needed to perform combat missions at the frontline. The Security Service of Ukraine reported this.

Mr Bohuslayev even ordered his subordinates to dismantle the helicopter for spare parts, and all operational documentation.

“The workers at the plant removed the blades and disabled the helicopter’s mechanisms that are responsible for the operation of the main rotor, fulfilling the official’s order, ” the report reads.

Law enforcement officers additionally informed Boguslaev about the suspicion under the article Obstruction of the Lawful Activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Other Military Formations During a Special Period, Committed by a Group of Persons by Prior Conspiracy.

As the website Charter97.org wrote, Mr Bohuslayev collaborated with Lukashenka. In 2011, Motor Sich acquired the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant. However, cooperation did not work out. Lukashenka nationalized the enterprise in 2018.
