China Stands Against Transfer Of Nuclear Weapons To Lukashenka Regime

Beijing stated this in the UN Security Council.

China opposed the transfer of nuclear weapons to other countries and their placement outside the country.

This was stated by Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the UN Geng Shuang, Charter97.org reports with a reference to the broadcast of the UN Security Council.

“We are in favor of a ban on the transfer of nuclear weapons so that no nuclear countries transfer their nuclear weapons abroad and do not place them outside their country,” he said.

Shuang stressed that last year, the five leaders of the nuclear nations issued a statement that a nuclear war cannot be won, and must not be started.

“Today, this statement is even more important. China calls on all nuclear-weapon countries to honor their commitments, reduce the risk of nuclear war, and avoid any conflict between nuclear powers,” he added.

Important to note, recently Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced his intention to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus.

We add that world leaders have already responded to the initiative of the dictator. The EU stated that the transfer of Russian tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus poses a threat to European security.
