Belarus, Zimbabwe To Hold 'Science, Technology Projects' Competition

Special attention is being paid to cooperation in cattle breeding, veterinary medicine and fodder production.
Belarus and Zimbabwe will hold a joint competition of scientific and technical projects for 2024-25. The agreement was reached following the first meeting of the joint committee on science and technology, the press service of the State Committee for Science and Technology said.
The meeting was chaired by deputy chairman of the committee Tatsiana Staliarova and Chief Director for Innovation, Science and Technology Development of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education, Scientific and Technological Development of Zimbabwe Willy Ganda.
Earlier, the programme of scientific and technological cooperation for 2022-24 was approved. Among others, the document defines measures for cooperation in cattle breeding, veterinary medicine and fodder production, where scientific organizations of the two countries have already reached a certain level of mutual understanding.
The next meeting of the commission is due to be held in Zimbabwe in 2025.
