How Many Russian Warships Were Sent Along Well-Known Course By AFU?

The main defeats of the Russian fleet.

Marine drones attacked the Russian reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs, 75 kilometers north of the Bosphorus. The Russian ship was attacked on May 24.

Russian sources report that the reconnaissance vessel received very serious damage. The ship itself was attacked by five drones. Two of them exactly reached their goal, having made two holes in the board. The ship is still allegedly “floating”, but there is a high probability of its flooding.

Later, a video appeared of a drone hitting a Russian ship.

This is not the first time that Russian ships have come under attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Charter97.org website looked at the losses suffered by the Russian fleet in the war with Ukraine.

Veliky Ustyug

The Veliky Ustyug small missile ship, which belongs to the Caspian Flotilla of the Russian Federation, was hit by artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 7, 2022.

The vessel fired on Ukrainian cities with Kalibr missiles, and then was hit by multiple launch rocket systems of the Ukrainian Naval Forces.

The media noticed the ship while towing along the Volga.

The hull and superstructures of the ship had a large number of holes. In addition, the ship did not have the main radar, removed for ease of transportation by river waterways.

Saratov

The large landing ship Saratov was destroyed by a Tochka-U missile during a Ukrainian attack on the port of Berdyansk on March 24, 2022.

As a result of the explosion, two more Russian ships were damaged — the Caesar Kunikov and the Novocherkassk. The commanders of the damaged landing ships of the Russian Federation in Berdyansk in 2014 devowed their oath and went over to the side of the invaders.

Saratov sank, was later raised, towed to Kerch and sawn up for scrap.

On March 24, 2023, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny showed how the Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian ship.

The Moskva cruiser

The pride and joy of the Russian fleet, the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, the missile cruiser Moskva was hit by Ukrainian anti-ship missiles R-360 Neptune on April 13, 2022, and sank.

The huge fire on the cruiser Moskva was visible from space.

The Moskva is potentially the largest warship ever put out of action by a missile.

The exact number of deaths is unknown. There were about 300 conscripts on the ship. The Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged the death of 37 people. However, relatives of the sailors spoke of hundreds of wounded and missing.

On April 13, 2023, a video of the historic missile launch that hit the Moskva cruiser appeared.

The Vasily Bekh

On June 17, 2022, the Ukrainian Naval Forces hit the Russian tugboat Vasily Bekh, which was carrying ammunition, weapons and the Russian Black Sea Fleet military to Snake Island. The blow was delivered by Harpoon missiles.

The TOR anti-aircraft missile system was installed on board the tug, which did not prevent the Ukrainian Naval Forces from striking the ship.

70% of the crew were hit. Subsequently, Russian troops were forced to leave Snake Island, as they could not provide for their grouping on the island. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called the cowardly flight “a goodwill gesture”.

Admiral Makarov and Ivan Golubets

On October 29, Ukrainian drones attacked the bay of the occupied Sevastopol.

According to analysts, the new flagship of the Black Sea Fleet Admiral Makarov, the sea minesweeper Ivan Golubets, as well as a third unidentified vessel were damaged. The attack involved 9 drones and seven autonomous maritime drones.

After this attack, Russia was forced to hide its ships in Novorossiysk. The Sevastopol Bay remains an unsafe area for the Russian fleet.
