AFU Advanced Up To 700 Meters Near Bakhmut During The Day

Over the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine advanced on the flanks in the Bakhmut direction at about 250-700 meters distance.

Serhiy Cherevaty, the speaker of the Eastern Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the air of the national telethon.

“If we talk about the Bakhmut direction, then there are trench battles going on. The enemy tries, but to no avail, to counterattack. There were three clashes in that direction during this day, 249 times they hit our positions with different types of artillery and carried out two air raids,” he said.

Cherevaty added that the Ukrainian military continued to counterattack where it was possible and forced the enemy advancing up to 700 meters in certain areas.

At the same time, 66 occupiers were liquidated in a day, 83 military of the Russian Federation were injured, three were captured.

Two enemy infantry fighting vehicles, two airborne combat vehicles, one armored personnel carrier, two Nona self-propelled mortars, one D-30 howitzer, one anti-tank missile system and one field ammunition depot were also destroyed.
