Ukrainian Marines Show How They Liberated Makarivka In Donetsk Region

Surviving Russians escaped or were captured.

The Ukrainian military have shown a video from Makarivka in Donetsk region. This locality was recently liberated from the Russian occupiers.

This was reported by the press service of the 35th separate brigade of marines named after Rear Admiral Mikhail Ostrogradsky.

"The Makarovka settlement in the Donetsk region has been liberated. Odesa marines continue to chase the occupants from Ukrainian soil. This time the military were in the vanguard of liberating the village of Makarivka," reads the description under the video.

As a result of the liberation of this settlement, as reported by the fighters, some of the enemy military personnel were destroyed, some were taken prisoner, and some escaped. Stabilization operations are now underway there.

Liberation of Makarivka

We remind you that on June 11, Hanna Malyar, deputy head of the Defence Ministry, reported the liberation of the village of Makarivka in Donetsk Region. She also confirmed the liberation of Blahodatne.

In total, over the past week, the Ukrainian military managed to liberate seven settlements from the Russian occupants: Lobkove, Levadne, Novodarivka, Neskuchne, Storozheve, Makarivka, and Blahodatne.
