The Ukrainian military has made strong advances in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Tuesday, 27 June, was a day of assaults, which were quite successful.
Valery Markus ("Magura"), chief sergeant of the 47th SMBr, said this in a video published on Telegram, without going into detail or naming the main places of advancement of the AFU military.
"We had a 24-hour assault yesterday (June 27 - ed.). We moved very far, very deep. On foot, so we were very tired. Now I am shooting video from the trenches of the Russian occupants. There's a pile of their corpses here. We are now moving further inland with fighting. Obviously it will not be quick, because their defence is very tight here and very well built. All the negative nuances are a sign that we are doing a good job," said Markus.

He also noted that the Ukrainian fighters had to spend the night literally on the bodies of the Russian occupiers, as the defenders of Ukraine stayed overnight in the captured position of the invaders, from which they will now advance further.
"The outermost position we took yesterday, there was a very small trench, but we had to spend the whole night there defending it in order to move on now... we had to stay in that position all night. The trench was narrow and strewn with bodies of the occupants. We tried to sleep one by one to get some rest. And we were literally sleeping on the corpses. I haven't had such an experience yet, to be honest," said the chief sergeant.
Markus reported that the Ukrainian soldiers would push forward and try to take the enemy in the next positions by surprise.
