‘Mousetraps’ For Russians: AFU Clear Up Bridgehead South Of Bakhmut

The Russian troops are being encircled in the populated areas near the city.

The units of the Ukrainian army successfully cleared the right bank of the Seversky Donets-Donbas canal from the Russian military south of Bakhmut.

This was reported by dialog.ua with a reference to the Information Resistance group coordinator Oleksandr Kovalenko.

In his Telegram channel, the military expert noted that, judging by the incoming information, the Armed Forces of Ukraine abandoned the tactics of frontal assaults in the villages, surrounding the Russian occupation forces from different sides.

Thus, in the vicinity of Bakhmut, multiple mousetraps are created for the Russians, which force them to constantly retreat or be captured by the Ukrainian military.

“Bakhmut... South. The right bank of the canal has been cleared of filth. The processes suggest that there will be no frontal assaults in the villages, but what will happen? There will be “boxes”. There is a sense of self-preservation — you will run out of it in time, if not, then the lid slams shut and you are already an exchange fund at best,” Kovalenko noted.
