According to Viasna's human rights activists, the administration of the Hrodna prison sent Uladzimir to a punishment cell for 10 days. The reasons for the charge are unknown. It is known that he recently met in custody with his wife.

From April 29 to May 6, Hundar was already held in a punishment cell, where he lost hearing. After his return, the man had a fever in the cell, he was very cold, his head and ears hurt, he stopped hearing his cellmates and realized that he had become completely deaf. After examination and medical assistance, the political prisoner felt better, his hearing partially returned.

Hundar was sanctioned at the beginning of April for incorrectly placing a pillow on a prison bed. However, he was not sent to the punishment cell for a month because of the lack of free space there.

Political prisoner Uladzimir Hundar, a defendant in the “Autukhovich case”, was sentenced to 20 years in a reinforced-security penal colony under 4 articles of the Criminal Code. Consideration of the appeal against the last verdict will take place on June 6.
