There will be no official announcement of the start of the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will not announce the start of counteroffensive operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the frontline.
RBC-Ukraine writes about this with reference to the Telegram channel of the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar.
“Plans like silence. There will be no announcement of the start,” Maliar wrote.
The Counteroffensive of Ukrainian Troops
The Ukrainian political and military command has repeatedly stated that Ukrainian troops were preparing for a counteroffensive in order to continue the liberation of Ukrainian territories from the Russian occupiers.
Initially, it was expected that the counteroffensive would take place in the spring. At the same time, it was assumed that active fighting could still continue in the summer. As the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov noted, the world's expectations may be overestimated as allies look forward to the next big success.
The chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, noted that armors should provide firepower and strength to the Ukrainina defenders, as well as play a decisive role in the long-awaited counteroffensive.
Meanwhile, according to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian soldiers are completely ready for a counteroffensive, but it was not known exactly when it would begin.
