Another Training Camp For Persons Liable For Military Service To Be Held In Belarus

This time it will be in Luninets district.

From June 8 to 29, a training camp under the leadership of "chairman" of Luninets district executive committee will be held to train people liable for military service, the Defense Ministry said.

The purpose of the training camp is to train the officials to form military units of "territorial troops" and the persons liable for military service to carry out tasks according to their assignment.

During the training camp, it is planned to carry out:

- acceptance of conscripts of "territorial troops";

- preparation of persons liable for military duty to perform tasks in accordance with their military registration and service designation

- restoration of the skills of the district and battalion commanders of the "territorial troops" in the management of their subordinates

- dealing with issues relating to the formation, training and use of the "people's militia" detachment.

The training camp will close with a command-staff exercise with the district's "territorial defence" forces.
