Two dead men in military uniform were found in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, the Baza telegram channel reported.

The bodies of two men with gunshot wounds were found on the morning of July 6 in the Khokhol district near the Voronezh-Lugansk highway, near the village of Oskino.

The men were wearing military uniforms and had no IDs.

A Bukhanka UAZ truck with weapons was found nearby.

On July 18, Baza stated that the two men were PMC Wagner fighters who had been killed for refusing to take part in "Prigozhin's mutiny".

Investigators were able to identify the suspect.

July 17, 25-year-old native of Kyrgyzstan Yaroslav Sh. was detained on suspicion of murder.

Under interrogation, he said that he himself was a PMC Wagner fighter and admitted that the men were killed on June 24 because they refused to participate in the "mutiny.
