Series Of Powerful Explosions In Russia's Belgorod

Local authorities were unable to assess the scale of the 'aftermath'.

Loud explosions were heard in the Russian city of Belgorod late yesterday evening, June 4. According to the local authorities, air defence systems were allegedly working in the city.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Mash Telegram channel.

Shortly after the series of loud explosions, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that an anti-aircraft defense system was allegedly "activated" in the regional centre. He also added that the operational services are right now clarifying the consequences of the explosions on the ground. According to him, tentatively, there are no casualties or damage.
