Novaya Gazeta Journalist Beaten In Chechnya Has 14 Fractures

A closed head injury has also been diagnosed.
Russian Novaya Gazeta journalist Elena Milashina has been examined at a Moscow hospital after being attacked in Chechnya, the newspaper reported.
Milashina was diagnosed with a closed head injury, up to 14 hand fractures and multiple soft tissue bruises. "Consciousness is clear and her condition is stable," the publication added.
The Department of the Investigative Committee for Chechnya reported that a criminal case has been opened over the attack on Milashina and lawyer Aleksandr Nemov in Chechnya.
