Maxim Butranets was born in Russia.
The new head of the Brest Border Guard Group, Maxim Butranets, has begun work. This was reported by the press service of the Brest Regional Executive Committee on 14 August.
Maxim Butranets was born in Sverdlovsk (now Ekaterinburg), graduated from the Suvorov School in Minsk, the Border Troops Department of the Military Academy of Belarus, the Border Academy of the Federal Security Service of Russia. He served in various units of the State Border Committee of Belarus, was First Deputy Head of the Homel Border Guard Group. In July 2015, he was appointed Head of the Pinsk Border Troops. From 2018 to 2021, he headed the Smarhon border group, Vecherniy Brest wrote.
The former head of the Brest border group, Igor Hutnik, was appointed deputy chairman of the State Border Committee (SBC) in July.
