Drone Attacks Shaikovka Airfield In Kaluga Region, Russia

An aircraft has been damaged.

A drone attacked an airfield in the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation. According to Baza, a kamikaze drone fell on the territory of the airfield on the morning of August 21.

According to preliminary information, as a result of the fall, the aircraft at the airfield was damaged. There are allegedly no casualties or other damage to infrastructure.

Well-known Ukrainian military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko also wrote about the attack:

“There is information about the “shooting down” of a certain drone in the area of the Shaikovka air base in the Kaluga region, where Tu-22M3 strategists are stationed.

While some sources write about the “shooting down”, others report damage to one of the aircraft.”
