Conscript Shoots Himself After 'Conversation' With Chief Ideologist In Pechy

A specific cartridge was used for suicide.

A conscript soldier of the 72nd Joint Training Centre has committed suicide in Pechy, Barysau district.

The Homel publication of Flagshtok managed to talk to one of the soldiers, serving in this military unit.

The conscript, according to the publication, shot himself during the night from August 3 to 4.

"He carried out some specific cartridge from the shooting ground, he had no head left. They say he did not want to join the army. He tried to avoid it. But they took him. They found some notes or poems on him recently. They've started working with him. The chief ideologist became involved. And after that the guy shot himself," Flagshtok quotes the soldier's words.

The press service of the Ministry of Defence did not report the incident.

According to Telegram channels, the dead man's name was Illia.
