Later, eyewitnesses reported a fire in the area of the Southern Bay. Videos and photos shared on social networks show a column of smoke and fire.

"In the Southern Bay, where it probably flew in, there are ships and submarines of the Black Sea Fleet," the authors of the channel wrote.

According to monitoring channels, explosions were heard in the area of Inkerman, where ships and submarines of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation are based.

Over time, the public pages started to write that the fire is raging in the area of the Sevastopol marine plant.

The so-called "governor" of Sevastopol, temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, Mikhail Razvozhayev, confirmed the attack and wrote that the fire broke out at a non-civilian facility near Kilen beam. The 13th ship repair plant of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is located there.

Later he edited his post and also wrote about a fire in the area of the Southern Bay. The Sevastopol naval plant named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze is located there.
