Belarusian Public Official On Trial For ‘Extremism’ In Vitebsk Region

In the Dokshytsy district of the Vitebsk region, official Inna Kimstach will be tried for disseminating “extremist information”. Her name appeared on the schedule of the Dokshytsy District Court, reports the Vitebsk, I’m Walking Telegram channel.

Inna Kimstach is a business manager at the Krypul Village Executive Committee. Recently they expressed gratitude to her (she is highlighted in the photo) for preparing the village council’s courtyard for the Two Rivers republican festival. Now, apparently, they will fire her, if they haven’t already.

The repressions that do not stop in Belarus also affected officials. This is not the first such trial against public officials. Last year, an official was detained in Hrodna for the subscription to the “destructive” Telegram channels.
