And joins hands with him.
Aliaksandr Lukashenka started negotiations with President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
The meeting took place at the Palace of Independence and was accompanied by a handshake between the dictators. Narrow and extended talks, signing of documents and media statements are expected.
Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo arrived in Belarus on an official visit yesterday.

We remind you that Mbasogo came to power in 1979, overthrowing the dictatorial regime of his uncle. Subsequently, he repeatedly appointed members of his family to government posts: thus, in 2012, his son Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangu became vice-president. In 2016, the dictator was "re-elected" for a new seven-year term, and Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangu was made First Vice President. Under the country's law, he will take over in the event of his father's death.
Mbasogo is accused of cannibalism. In September 2016, the editor-in-chief of Liberia's New Democrat newspaper was detained for publishing an article about it. The authors of the publication claimed that the dictator of the African state is a cannibal, he authorises the kidnapping of his opponents and then eats some parts of their bodies, particularly liver and brains. It was also written that during Nguema Mbasogo's 30 years in power, he has amassed enormous wealth while most of the country's citizens live in poverty with little or no access to education and health care.
During Mbasogo's rule, the cult of his personality has been established in the country. In 2003, state radio declared that he is "like God in heaven" and is "in constant contact with the Almighty" with "all power over people and things." In 2013, the DPRK honoured Mbasogo with the Kim Jong Il Prize.
