Russian Pantsir-S1 Hit Their Own Tigr Armored Vehicle On Southern Front

According to them, late in the evening of September 5, 2022, Russian special forces, returning in armored vehicles from a mission, got into a traffic jam in the area of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.

They hovered there, waiting for permission to cross. But they got a strike from their own air defense instead.

“The time had passed midnight, the soldiers began to freeze, as a result of which they decided to dive back into the Tigrs and KamAZs. Suddenly our air defense went off and the armored vehicles were shaken,” said the Z-channel.

According to him, the Pantsir-S1 missile, fired to intercept HIMARS, penetrated the Tigr armored car with the occupiers instead. As a result of this “friendly” blow, little was left of Corporal Gorokh, and his colleagues who were in the car at that moment were also injured, one of them had his fingers torn off.
