New French Foreign Ministry Chief To Undertake Covert Trip To Kyiv

New Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Stéphane Séjourné will visit Ukraine soon. He is already “heading to Kyiv,” writes the French publication Le Figaro, citing sources.

During his visit to Ukraine, the new head of French diplomacy is scheduled to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky. This meeting was planned back when the French Foreign Ministry was headed by Catherine Colonna. However, due to rapid changes in the French government, Séjourné will take her place at the meeting.

It is not specified when exactly the French minister will arrive in Ukraine. According to his entourage, Séjourné is already “heading to Kyiv” to demonstrate to the Ukrainians France’s support against the backdrop of Russian aggression.
