Media: Russia Forced To Redeploy Air Defence Systems From Front After Attack On Gas Terminal

The SSU inflicted not only significant material but also image damage to the Russian Federation.

Russia is forced to move its air defence from the front after the attack on the Ust-Luga Oil gas terminal in Leningrad Region.

This is reported by sources of RBC-Ukraine.

The Ust-Luga Oil terminal is one of the newest and most important in Russia. It works for export, but it also supplies fuel for Russian troops.

After the SSU attack, all the tankers that were at the terminal moved far out to sea. Their loading has been disrupted.

"This SSU attack has caused not only significant material but also image damage to the Russian Federation. The praised Russian air defence system has demonstrated its holes," the source said.

According to the source, the Russians are forced to move more air defence systems from the front to protect the rear.

Attack on Russian Ust-Luga Marine Terminal

On the night of January 21, an explosion occurred near the oil terminal of the Sea Trade Port in the village of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region. Residents of nearby towns near the port reported drones.

Later, a fire broke out in the terminal. About 150 people had to be evacuated from the enterprise.

In addition, this night it was "loud" in Russia not only in the area of the oil terminal. Explosions were also heard in Tula, where the Shcheglovsky Val plant producing Pantsir SAMs was attacked. This attack, in turn, was the work of Ukrainian intelligence officers.
