Information that "no First Channel could correct" has appeared.
Journalists from the publication Tochka have published excerpts from the biography of Vladimir Putin, which is unofficially banned in Russia. So the world could find out what his classmates said about the dictator.
A rare book has been published in Russia based on details from one of the first biographies of Putin. The author is Oleg Blotsky. The book was published in the early 2000s. However, it was subsequently unofficially banned in Russia. The book is now nowhere to be found online or in bookstores.
Journalists note that Putin's classmates were apparently too frank.
They said things that "no First Channel or Yekaterina Andreeva could have fixed".
How Putin liked working in the KGB
In particular, they told how Putin was happy to work in the KGB. He was so proud that the former classmate immediately realised that something great had happened in his life.
"But I knew you could never get inside his head. There was an unwritten rule between us that I could not ask him about some things. That day I was very surprised that he got behind the wheel even though he had been drinking. He'd never let himself do that before. Only later did I realise that the comrade was celebrating his joining the KGB with me," the message reads. The book also recalls how Putin's parents feared that their son would be born with abnormalities. They knew of numerous examples of women who had survived the blockade, but were extremely weak and unable to give birth to healthy children, even many years after the war.
How Putin's classmates got rich
It is noteworthy that most of Putin's classmates and schoolmates became rich as adults.
Grigory Geylikman is a successful businessman, owner of a company that maintains the computers of former officials and receives large state contracts;
Vladimir Yelfimov is the owner of Alternative Energy RO;
Anna Kisello is the owner of the Porcelain shop in St Petersburg.
