The condition of the "volunteers" after the vaccination has not been reported yet.
Belarusian vaccine against coronavirus was tested on Homel railway workers. This is reported by the telegram channel of the Homel branch of the Belarusian railway.
It is reported that clinical trials of the vaccine "for medical prophylaxis COVID-19" were held with the participation of the Homel State Medical University.
"The data obtained at the current stage indicate that the vaccine, both in a dose of 0.5 ml and in a dose of 1 ml, allows to form a sufficiently good humoral immune response with booster vaccination," writes the telegram channel and quotes Homel State Medical University rector Ihar Stoma, who called the vaccine "a top performance in modern pharmacology."
We remind you that early last year, then Health Minister Dzmitry Pinevich announced the widespread use of the Belarusian vaccine against COVID-19 in 2024. He said that initially they were thinking to include such variants as "Omicron," "Centaur," "Kraken" and others, but came to the conclusion that "the Ukhan strain as a basis works well enough." According to Pinevich, the composition can be modified if necessary.
By the end of 2023, the Ministry of Health of Belarus announced that clinical trials of the domestic vaccine against COVID-19 had been completed. It has already been registered in Belarus by the Centre for Expertise and Testing in Public Health of the Ministry of Health.
