Piontkovsky: The Outcome Of The War Can Be Decided By 200 NATO Aircraft

The fall of Crimea will shock Russians.

200 F-16 fighter jets that the West can provide to Ukraine will decide the outcome of the war.

Fighters can be transferred to Kyiv even without a decision on additional funding in the West.

This point of view was voiced by political scientist and publicist Andrei Piontkovsky.

"The outcome of the war can be decided by 200 aircraft. It will easily decide the outcome of the war. There were many articles recently about F-16 aircraft... In various military conflicts around the world, they (F-16) have faced battle with [Russian - Ed.) Su fighters over the past 10 years more than once. The result was 56:0 in favour of the F-16. That is, 56 Su-35s and not a single F-16 were shot down in the air battles between each other. I think this issue [the provision of fighters to Ukraine - ed.] can be resolved without any additional funding," Piontkovsky said.

At the same time, the analyst does not doubt that the United States will approve additional assistance for Kyiv.

“The United States cannot humiliate itself by denying this funding,” the expert added.

In addition, Piontkovsky expressed confidence that the liberation of Crimea by Ukraine would be a real shock for Russians.

"The fall of Crimea will have a huge political and psychological impact on Russian society and government... The victory scenario is obvious and completely in the hands of the United States," the political scientist said.
