Vučić Humiliated Putin

The President of Serbia signed a declaration in support of Ukraine on the birthday of the head of the Kremlin.

The head of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, continues to distance himself from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin after the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine.

Not long ago, the Serbian leader said that after the start of the war, he had no contacts with Putin, also no phone conversations.

On October 7, the Kremlin dictator turned 72, and the Serbian president was not on the list of heads of state who congratulated Putin on this date, writes The Moscow Times.

Instead, on October 9, Vučić took part in the Ukraine-Southeastern Europe Summit, which took place in Croatia. Following the meeting, the Serbian leader joined the declaration signed by the summit participants, which condemned Russian military aggression against Ukraine.

In particular, the document, consisting of 18 points, states that Russia's war against Ukraine is a crime against the Ukrainian people, a violation of international law and a major threat to peace.

In addition, the declaration states that the participants of the summit in Croatia support the results of the Peace Summit held in Switzerland in June, are committed to the Ukrainian peace formula and condemn the Kremlin's attempts to annex Ukrainian lands.
