A large ammunition depot is burning and exploding.
Today, October 9, around 4:30, a fire started at a large ammunition depot in Karachev in Russia's Bryansk region.
This night the local authorities reported ‘repelling’ a drone attack in Bryansk region. However, there was a fire near the town of Karachev and explosions are heard as a result of a hit on the ammunition depot.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the representative of the Ukrainian volunteer army of ‘South’ Serhiy Bratchuk.
Thus, shots from Karachev were published in the network in the morning, where you can see the glow from the fiery emergency and hear a powerful detonation.
According to open data, the 67th arsenal of the Russian Defence Ministry's Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate with various munitions is located near this settlement.
Archived satellite footage (from 2021) shows that the warehouse covered an area of about 3.5 square kilometres.
The shells and other weapons there are still exploding after the drone attack claimed by the governor of Bryansk Region earlier that night.
