Lebanese Missile Falls In Eastern Suburbs Of Tel Aviv

In the evening of November 18, militants of the Lebanese group Hezbollah attacked central Israel. As a result, five people were wounded.
This was reported by The Times of Israel. According to the IDF, during the attack on the centre of the country, one rocket was fired from Lebanese territory, which was successfully intercepted by air defence systems.
According to preliminary reports, a high altitude interceptor of the David's Sling system struck a surface-to-surface missile fired from Lebanon and shattered it into several pieces.
The rocket debris fell between the two Tel Aviv suburbs of Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan, causing fire and significant damage to surrounding buildings and vehicles. The Israel Defence Forces later confirmed that the injuries and damage were caused by shrapnel from an intercepted rocket.
Five people suffered varying degrees of injury - a 54-year-old woman is in serious condition, one person suffered moderate injuries, and three others are in satisfactory condition.
All the injured were struck by shrapnel, the emergency service said. All the injured were taken to Beilinson Hospital.
