Bailiffs "forgot" to lift the ban.

A resident of Pinsk had to contact the Prosecutor's Office to lift the ban on leaving the country. He fell under the restrictions due to a debt to a bank.

At the request of the financial institution, bailiffs banned him from leaving Belarus.

In May 2024, the debtor paid off the existing debt in full. However, the established restrictions were not lifted.

In October 2024, the man reported his problem to the prosecutor's office. By order of the supervisory authority, the ban on leaving was lifted.

"The guilty party, who failed to take measures to timely lift the established restrictions in relation to the applicant, was brought to justice," the Prosecutor's Office reported.
