40 Drones, Neptune And Storm Shadow Missiles: Ukrainian Armed Forces Launch Combined Attack On Belbek Airfield In Crimea

Smoke is rising over the Black Sea Naval School in Sevastopol.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces (Ukrainian Armed Forces) attacked the Belbek military airfield in Sevastopol using 40 drones, Neptune anti-ship missiles and Storm Shadow cruise missiles, Mash reports.

The Crimean Wind Telegram channel reports that an explosion has thundered in Sevastopol.

According to preliminary information, smoke is rising over the Nakhimov Black Sea Naval School, which is located in the area of the naval school in Streletska Bay.

According to eyewitnesses, the work of Russian air defense systems can be heard within the city limits — missile launches and anti-aircraft systems are reported.

The channel “ChP Sevastopol” in turn writes that a combined strike was carried out on the Crimean peninsula using about 40 drones, Neptune missiles, and, presumably, British Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

The main target of the strike was the Belbek airfield in the northwest and adjacent facilities, the leading channels claim, but there was no official confirmation from the Ukrainian military.

At the time of publication, the consequences of the combined strike are unknown, but the “governor” of the city Mikhail Razvozhayev reported “falling debris” of a UAV in the Orlivka area near the Kachin highway in Sevastopol.

In addition, they report the work of Russian air defense in the area of the Saki airfield in Novofedorivka, where four explosions thundered. It is possible that we are talking about several waves of attack, since Russian monitoring channels warn of the threat of a repeat strike using missiles.
