Trump has previously said Pennsylvania will decide the outcome of the election.
The first US presidential election results have been released for a key swing state, Pennsylvania. According to AP, after counting 5 per cent of ballots, Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has 76.5 per cent of the vote, while Republican candidate Donald Trump has 22.6 per cent of the vote.
A few hours earlier in an interview on WPHT radio, Trump said, ‘If we win in Pennsylvania, we'll win the election.’ He urged supporters to get to the polls more actively.
The swing states are those where support for Democrats and Republicans is nearly identical. In addition to Pennsylvania (19 electors), in the current US presidential election they include Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina.
