Republican candidate Donald Trump beat Democrat Kamala Harris during the count in the swing state of Pennsylvania. After processing 50 per cent of the ballots, he has 50.6 per cent, while Harris has 48.5 per cent, according to an Associated Press count.
For a long time, Kamala Harris was in the lead at the start of the count in this swing state.
The swing states are those where support for Democrats and Republicans is nearly equal. In addition to Pennsylvania (19 electors), in the current US presidential election, they include Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina.
Earlier, Trump said that Pennsylvania would decide the outcome of the election.
