Media: DPRK Soldiers Do Not Know About Existence Of UAVs

Drone strikes have taken North Koreans by surprise.

The North Koreans, with whom the AFU entered the battle, use tactics dating back to the 1970s. Ukrainian fighters from the Khorne Group expressed this opinion about their first encounter with DPRK soldiers in Kursk region, Dialogue reports.

There is a feeling that they simply have forgotten to tell the soldiers from the DPRK about the drones. The AFU fighters admitted that many enemy soldiers were eliminated with the help of drones. Now the whole question is what will end sooner: drones of the AFU or DPRK infantry.

Ukrainian military correspondent Yuriy Butusov has also paid attention to the North Korean soldiers. According to him, the first attack in the area of Sudzha in Kursk region was carried out by DPRK soldiers on December 14.

Soldiers from the 92nd and 95th brigades of the AFU repelled the first massive assault of DPRK troops supported by the Russian Armed Forces near Malaya Loknya. The enemy troops marched in separate detachments to capture one of the landings near the locality.

For this purpose, the enemy engaged REB systems both ground and those of Mi-8TPR helicopters.

The most interesting thing is that the DPR army went into battle across the field, despite constant strikes and shelling by the AFU. This is the tactic of the ‘live waves’, which was actively used by the DPRK and PRC armies during the Korean War in 1950-1953.

The enemy still managed to reach the AFU positions due to good physical preparation, rapid advance, despite heavy losses in their own ranks. At the same time, the evacuation of the ‘200s’ and ‘300s’ was not carried out during the attack.

There is no information yet as to whether the AFU captured at least one North Korean.

Butusov does not rule out that the attack against Malaya Loknya was carried out by an entire battalion of soldiers from Kim's army.

For the first time, the Kremlin used DPRK soldiers to capture Plekhovo on December 10, and four days later - in the battle for Malaya Loknya. It is not excluded that the Russian Federation will again send another North Korean battalion into the ‘meat assault’ in the coming days.

Another military correspondent Sergei Auslender has also voiced his opinion. He paid attention to the very first attack of the DPRK troops near Plekhovo. He urges to read with attention the memoirs of American and British soldiers who took part in the Korean War. The ‘live wave’ tactic is when you have a large crowd of soldiers moving on you, one unit after another. The defenders may run out of ammunition or simply have their barrels jammed due to constant, incessant firing at a moving target.

The enemy is not concerned that losses may be 10 to 1. The main goal is to reach the trench. You can stop such an enemy advance either with artillery or by burning everything out with napalm.
