The man has been detained.
The Russian Federation claims to have allegedly detained the perpetrator of the operation to eliminate the head of the Russian radiation and chemical defense troops, Igor Kirillov.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to RIA Novosti.
According to a report from the Federal Security Service (FSB), a perpetrator of the operation to eliminate Kirillov, “recruited” by Ukraine, was detained in Russia. He allegedly turned out to be a citizen of Uzbekistan born in 1995.
The FSB adds that the perpetrator of the operation received a powerful homemade explosive device upon arrival in Moscow. He then attached the explosive to an electric scooter, which was parked at the entrance to Kirillov's house.
To monitor the address where the general lived, the suspect allegedly rented a car and installed a Wi-Fi video camera in it, which transmitted the image to “the organizers in Dnipro”.
