Protesters in Georgia depicted government officials as insect pests.

A march of Georgian farmers has begun in Tbilisi, Paper Kartuli writes.

On one of the posters, activists depicted government officials as insect pests.

Note that one of the slogans of the Belarusian revolution in 2020 was "Stop the cockroach".

The slogan arose after a meeting between blogger Siarhei Tsikhanouski and a resident of Glybokae, Liudmila Bareika. In her story about life in Belarus, she mentioned the fairy tale "Cockroach" by Korney Chukovsky.

"I did not have the goal of humiliating Lukashenka. However, I remembered this fairy tale because it characterizes our entire government, everyone is afraid of one person, no matter what he says, no matter how he insults everyone, including all the people. He threatened, and everyone stood with their heads down and were afraid to say anything. That's exactly what happened in the fairy tale. And just as there is a slogan in Belarus, 'Long Live Belarus!', there is also a slogan, 'Stop Cockroach!' she said.
