Russian troops launched missile strikes on the port of Kherson, during which the dry cargo ship "KURUOGLU-3" was damaged in the starboard side.
This is reported by the Deniz İscileri. publication.
"The vessel, which moored in the port to export 2,800 tonnes of bulk cargo of nitrogen fertilizer - loose urea - and has been aground for two years due to the war, was hit by two missiles from the starboard side," the report said.
It is noted that due to the mine threat in the Black Sea, the Turkish vessel has been aground in the port of Kherson since February 22, 2022.
The Turkish organisation reports that there is no information about how many crew members were on board and in what condition they are now.
