Three planes have already been destroyed since the beginning of the day.

The Ukrainian military shot down two more Russian Su-34 aircraft on February 29. In total, the Russians have already lost three aircraft since the beginning of this day.

This was reported on Facebook by AFU Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky.

"After successful combat work on the enemy aircraft at night on February 29, two more Russian aircraft have been destroyed: fighter-bombers Su-34 in the Avdiivka and Mariupol directions!" he reported.

Syrsky thanked the military for their combat work.

Information about three downed Russian Su-34s since the beginning of the day has been confirmed by AFU Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk.

The Lieutenant General noted that Russian pilots do not make any conclusions and become a target for Ukrainian servicemen. He also specified that the enemy lost two fighters in the Avdiivka and Mariupol directions.

"It seems that they do not get it! No conclusions are made by Russian pilots! Today at around 9.00, two more Su-34s of the occupiers were destroyed in the Avdiivka and Mariupol directions! Together - to victory!" wrote Oleshchuk.

Thus, since the beginning of the current day Ukrainian fighters have already shot down three Russian Su-34 fighters. The first aircraft was destroyed in the east of Ukraine at about 01:00 at night on February 29.

We remind you that in February Ukrainian servicemen have already destroyed more than 13 modern fighters of the Russian occupation army.
