A contract soldier from a military unit in Lida was fined by a local court. The man put a modified coat of arms of Nazi Germany on his TikTok avatar. This was considered the spread of Nazi symbols.

The man also distributed “extremist” materials on TikTok.

The case was heard on January 22 in the Lida District Court. The man plead guilty.

According to Part 1 of Article 19.10 Code of Administrative Offenses “Propaganda or public display, production, distribution of Nazi symbols or paraphernalia” and Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses “Distribution, production, storage, transportation of information products containing calls for extremist activities or promoting such activities” he was fined 40 base fees (1,600 rubles) with confiscation of his mobile phone.
