Media: Ukrainian Armed Forces Could Have Downed Another Russian Su-35

The plane disappeared from radar between Mariupol and Volnovakha.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces could shoot down another “bird” of the Russian invaders. Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko announced this on social networks on March 1.

"Again. An airplane. Between Mariupol and Volnovakha. Our people report that they just saw a fall similar to the previous one,” he noted.

The official said the details and location of the probable fall were being investigated.

“The option with a large UAV is also possible in theory, but enemy air defense was not detected,” Andryushchenko added.

Subsequently, the adviser reported that the Su-35 fighter had disappeared from radars in the Mariupol area.
